Hershey's Syrup

Good morning/afternoon/evening everybody! It is almost middle of January and you know, something weird happened with the weather in Minnesota! It was raining! OMG, that was really weird! Hope you are doing good and the weather did not bring a surprise for you.

As I said in my last post, I would tell you more about Hershey's products. By the way, check the Hershey's web-site here: http://www.hersheys.com/ It looks cute and provides some interesting and mmmm... tasty information! And our product for today is Hershey's syrup.

I think you will agree with me, everyone likes and wants to eat big, soft and creamy portion of ice-cream, even in winter. So I am just crazy about ice-cream (OK, both chocolate and ice-cream :)). And now it is not necessary to go to fancy restaurant or cafe to get this delicious dish. Just get a Hershey's syrup, some nuts or gummy bears, fruits or berries and create your own coolest thing ever! Hershey's syrup is not so thick but soft and liquid enough to spread it out all around your ice-cream. Hershey's Chocolate Syrup would bring some rich real chocolate flavor in your treat; Strawberry Syrup would add some freshness and sweet. You could be so risky and add both of them! They could combine together so good.  Everything is better with Hershey's!

Valentine's Day is coming soon! Treat your sweetheart and treat yourself with the most delicious chocolates! Hershey's has a limited edition of different candy bars for this event! Hope you have the sweetest holiday!

Hershey's Kisses

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a wonderful break. I have 5 mounths more in the US, it means thatyou will know more about candies in this country! OK? are you ready? Let's start!

I really like chocolate. That's why I miss some kinds of Russian chocolate here. But! I found a substitution for them! "Hershey's" chocolate! This brand was known since 1876 and still is so popular and well-buying dainty. I want to tell you about "Hershey's Kisses".

It is an adorable name, is not it? "Kisses" also have the most delicious content ever! These small drop-shaped chocolates taste really good!!! Soft milk-chocolate cover hides savaoury heart. "Kisses" may have coconut, raspberry, almond, caramel or cookies'n'creme center. There are also a special series for holidays (Christmas, etc.). You can find milk chocolate and special dark chokolate "Hershey's Kisses" for your sugar cookies or other favorite desserts. Pull the small tag on it, and you will open the small one-bite cute chocolate. Delicate, unforgettable taste of melting chocolate stays with you for a while and then disappeares. I guarantee, if you try it once, you will want to eat more! Good quality of chocolate compares with the price. Pleasure costs this money!

"Life Savers"

Hey yoooo! I hope you are doing good. I started to create and search for presents for my friends & host-family. I also found some cute little things for my Russian family and friends. I am a sweet-tooth  and that's why I put in my package something tasty...

It is "Life Savers" hard candies! Let me explain something: they are actually in the shape of life savers, which you can see on the beach or on a boat. But these "Life Savers" are even better - they are yummy!!! Let's go to the store and buy a whole pack of these candies. You can find all kinds of them: fruit and fruit punch, mint and pina colada....You can also find a special holiday mix, which consists of cherry, apple and peppermint flavored candies. Great, rich taste combine with a fun shape! How cool, is it not?! Brand "Life Savers" also makes "Life Savers Gummies" for people, who like to treat their stomach!

This post is unusual. I do not want to describe to you how good or bad these candies are. I just want to say that I sent you some...So, you decide. My package to you also include some kinds of candies, which I have described before. I'm so excited! See you! (Photos are from the Internet)

"Caramel Apple Pops"

Hey everyone! Christmas is coming in America! But I do not want to take a break and I'm still searching for something tasty and interesting for you (and for me, of course!:). I really want to show you all kind of delicious candies and desserts, which I have tried yet, but... enough is a good as a feast. So, for this post I found something special for you, guys!

I think that most famous and popular dessert in the US (besides brawny & crispy bars) is caramel apple. This delicious dish is a paradise for your taste and stomach! And now this treat can be easily enjoyed, because we have the "Caramel Apple Pops"! It is a hard candy in real caramel coat! How adorable!!!

Let's unwrap it and look inside! You can enjoy a sweet smell of caramel and sour smell of green apple lollipop. After the caramel melts in your mouth and becomes soft, you can try to bite a piece of it. It is not easy - it stretches; it is amazing! The fantastic taste of caramel is replaced by the sour taste of apple lollipop. You know, it actually tastes like a green apple! Fresh and sour! The changing tastes leaves an unusual post taste in your mouth, this is funny! I noticed, that each "Caramel Apple Pop" could consist of different amount of caramel and hard candy; it means every time you have one it is different and it leaves a different post taste: more sweet or more sour. The one thing, which I do not like in this candy is one piece is enough for a day, I cannot eat more than one! :)

"Smarties" vs. "SweeTarts"

Hey! I hope you're doing good. The weather in MN is getting colder, but I'm still trying new candies and will show it to you!

Today I compare two (OMG, 2!!!) of the same kinds of candies but from different brands. Here are they: "Smarties" and "SweeTarts" by Wonka. First of all, they caught my attention with their unusual form. You think that it is a long candy. But no! There are small colored tablets in one pack! Awesome! Now I will talk about each one.

The "Smarties" pack consists of 15 light-colored tablets. When you put a couple of them in your mouth you cannot feel anything. But then, when it starts to melt, you taste a sweet flavor. After that it turns a little bit sour and you feel tiny particles of "Smarties" on your tongue. I do not have enough patience to wait for it all to melt, so, I just bite it. It is interesting, because I feel more sour taste.

"SweeTarts" by Wonka consist of 13 bright-colored hard tablets. As soon as you taste it you can feel sour and astringent flavor in one and the same time. Like in Chinese cuisine (just kidding!:).  And this taste lasts a long timje. Try to keep it in your mouth without biting and you will feel big particles and more sweet taste.

 I should say that "SweeTarts" are a little bit harder than "Smarties" but it does not make their taste worse. Enjoy it!

"Dubble Bubble" Gum

I have lived here since August; my gastronomical experiences were different. The thing, which I tried first was a gum. Yes, just gum. I said to my host-mom: "The Dubble Bubble is the best fruit gum I've ever tried".

"Dubble Bubble" looks like candy. When you unwrap it you can feel amazing smell of fruits: watermelon, grape, apple or "special" original. Whatever taste you like. Firts, it is kind a hard to chew it. But when the gum becomes soft, you can enjoy it's taste.

I remember great gums from my childhood with cute names "Love is..." I enjoyed different tastes of it and liked to make big bubbles from it. When I was 7 this thing disappeared. Yeah, sad... But now my child's memories can come back. With "Dubble Bubble" I can make the biggest bubbles ever! It is sad, that taste of gum does not remain for a long time, but you always can take another one!


"Bubble Dubble" brand also provide flavored gum-balls. They also have wide range of fruit tastes, but for my opinion it is really hard to chew it. You should wait for melting. That's why I prefer usual "Dubble Bubble" gum with original taste.
